Feeding: Greens, algae, pellet food, flake food, bottom feeder.
Social Behaviour: Community fish.


Up Keep: 10 gallon minimum, normal water conditions apply. Prefers a dark sandy bottom for burrowing.
Breeding: If they are to breed it will happen in groups. 4000 to 5000 eggs are laid on the bottom of the tank.
Comments: Very interesting looking fish, and fun to keep, but will burrow.
