Sex: The female Flag Tetra has a larger more fuller and rounded body.
Feeding: They will eat small live foods mixed in with some flakes.
Social Behaviour: A peaceful schooling fish that is great for a community tank.

Up Keep: Keep in a tank with a dark gravel bottom. Use subdued light and peat filtered water for optimal conditions.
Breeding: The Flag Tetra is most likely to breed in soft, slightly acid water. Suggest using a separate breeding tank and then remove pair after spawning.
Comments: These are another great community fish. Can mix with other Tetras and peaceful community fish.
