Otocinclus

Otocinclus
Otocinclus Arnoldi

Length: 2.5"
Sex: Females are fatter when they are ready to breed.
Feeding: Algae and algae wafers. They will also accept lettuce leaves, spinach and boiled peas.
Social Behaviour: Peaceful community fish that will spend most of its time cleaning the algae build up in the tank.

Up Keep: Not too picky about tank setup. They will adapt to most conditions and only require that there is plenty of algae or other food sources.
Breeding: After spawning the eggs are stuck to leaves and they hatch in about 72 hours.
Comments: If you have lots of algae then one of these guys is a must for your tank. I suggest getting a few of them as they like to live with others of their kind.
