Hengel's Rasbora, Glowlight Rasbora

Hengel's Rasbora, Glowlight Rasbora
Trigonostigma Hengeli

Length: 1.5"
Sex: Difficult to tell. No real differences.
Feeding: They will take a wide range of foods, including flakes and small live foods.
Social Behaviour: They are very peaceful schooling fish. Best kept in schools of eight or more and with other peaceful fish.

Up Keep: They are hardy and easy to keep. They like an open swimming area with lots of plants around the edges.
Breeding: It is more difficult but similar to the Harlequin Rasbora. Female will lay eggs on the underside of leaves.
Comments: These fish are another hardy and peaceful community fish. They are a great addition to a community tank and mix well with other Rasboras. I suggest mixing them with Espe's and Harlequin Rasboras. They are great for a first time aquarist.
