A very active, aggressive and territorial fish. Best kept with it's own kind or other larger aggressive fish. |

Aquarium should have rock caves and passageways. One male to several females is recommended. |
| Breeding: |
Spawning will take plce in the male's chosen territory. After spawning the female and brood could be removed to secluded aquarium. Feed the fry baby brine shrimp and crushed flakes |
