| Feeding: |
They are omnivorous and will accept a wide range of foods. |
| Social Behaviour: |
Moderately aggressive and territorial. Not a good community tank fish. |

| Up Keep: |
Tank should have plenty of rocks that form tunnels, caves and passageways. They do best when in groups of 6 or more. |
| Breeding: |
The male will chose a territory to spawn in. Brooding female may need to be removed if the male does not have others to distract it. Feed baby brine shrimp to the fry. |
