Sex: Very difficult to tell the male and the female apart.
Feeding: Will take flake food as well as various live foods including snails.
Social Behaviour: A peaceful fish that does well in a community tank. Very social and loves to be kept with other fish of it's own kind.


Up Keep: Fine gravel bottom with caves and other hiding places is suggested. Minimum tank size of 20 Gal is recommended.
Breeding: Very little is known about the breeding habits of this fish.
Comments: Need a good snail exterminator? This is the fish that will do the trick. Good community fish that is hardy and easy to take care of. They are very social and should be kept in groups of 3 or more.
