Black Neon Tetra

Black Neon Tetra
Hyphessobrycon Herbertaxelrodi

Length: 1.5"
Sex: Female will have a fuller stomach.
Feeding: Will accept flakes and small live foods.
Social Behaviour: A peaceful community fish. Does well if kept in schools.

Up Keep: The Black Neon Tetra is finicky about water conditions and prefers a pH of 5.5-7.5 and a hardness of 6 dGH. Recommend subdued lighting and well circulated water.
Breeding: Not difficult to breed. They will happily mate if they are fed well and water conditions are kept to their liking.
Comments: A popular schooling fish. Fairly easy to keep. These fish are excellent additions to a community tank. I suggest keeping 8 or more. Make sure the tank is fully cycled before adding these fish to the tank.
