Emperor Tetra.
Nematobrycon Palmeri.

Length: 2.0"
Sex: Male is more colorful with a pointed dorsal fin.
Feeding: Will accept flakes and various small live foods like daphnia.
Social Behaviour: Very peaceful fish. Should be kept with other peaceful community fish. Does best if kept in a school.

Up Keep: Place plenty of plants around the tank edges with an open space for swimming. Suggest using dark gravel and floating plants to dim the aquarium lighting.
Breeding: A breeding pair will spawn if placed together in a separate tank that has a temperature around 80 degrees. Remove both parents after the pair has finished spawning.
Comments: A popular and very attractive fish. Great addition to a community tank with other peaceful fish. Do not keep with more livelier tank mates.
