Purple Emperor Tetra

Purple Emperor Tetra
Inpaichthys Kerri

Length: 2.0"
Sex: Only the males have a purple or blue coloration.
Feeding: They will eat flakes and various live foods like daphnia.
Social Behaviour: A very peaceful community fish that is great for tanks with more timid community fish.

Up Keep: Should be kept in a school and should have nice open swimming space in aquarium. Add plenty of plants around the edges of the tank. Use floating plants to dim the lighting.
Breeding: A breeding pair will spawn if placed together in a separate tank that has a temperature around 80 degrees. Remove both parents after the pair has finished spawning.
Comments: These fish are good for a community tank that has more timid species of fish. Do not keep with highly active tank mates.
