Neon Tetra

Neon Tetra
Paracheirodon Innesi

Length: 2.0"
Sex: Females have larger, fuller bodies.
Feeding: Will eat a wide variety of food and should have flakes and live foods in their diet.
Social Behaviour: A great community fish and schooling fish. Recommend keeping 10 or more.

Up Keep: Tank should have an established bio filter before adding any Neon Tetra. They actively swim in schools and should have open spaces with planted areas to hide in.
Breeding: To induce spawning use soft water with subdued lighting. After spawning, remove the adults.
Comments: These are the most popular fish found in the hobby today. A school of Neon Tetras will look striking in any aquarium. They will not do well in poor water conditions so regular water changes are a must.
