Scissor-Tailed Rasbora
Rasbora Trilineata

Length: 6.0"
Sex: Male tends to be smaller. Female will have a slightly fuller belly.
Feeding: Will accept flakes and various types of live foods.
Social Behaviour: Active, peaceful, schooling fish that does best with more of the same type of fish.

Up Keep: Tank should have plants and vegetation around the edges with an open space in the middle for swimming.
Breeding: Difficult but possible with soft, slightly acid water that is fairly shallow. Parents should be removed after spawning as they will eat the eggs.
Comments: Hardy fish and great for starter fish. These fish are schooling fish and should be kept in groups of four or more. They are peaceful and make a great addition to a community aquarium.
