Sex: The male has a more pointed swim bladder while the female tends to have a more rounded swim bladder.
Feeding: Feed flakes and small live foods.
Social Behaviour: Peaceful schooling fish that is a good addition to a community tank.

Up Keep: Likes a tank that is well planted around the sides with an open swimming space in the middle.
Breeding: Very easy to breed when conditions are optimal. Keep temperature between 77 and 79 degrees with a low water hardness. Parents should be removed after spawning.
Comments: Another very popular Tetra. Very peaceful and well suited for a community tank. Best kept in schools of seven or more.
