Adult males can be a little on the aggressive side. Two males will battle like Beta fish. |

Large aquarium with lots of swimming space. Good idea to have hiding places for the female. |
| Breeding: |
Builds a bubble nest under a large floating plant or leaf. Remove female after breading and remove male about 2 days later. |

I like Paradise fish. They are very active curious fish.
They have been known to jump out of the water to grab food
from your fingers. My Paradise fish did this often. The down
side is the slight aggressiveness that they show and need to
be kept with other fish that can put up with that. |
