Sex: Hard to tell male and female apart but the male is usually thinner than the female.
Feeding: Will eat flakes and various live foods.
Social Behaviour: A schooling fish that should be kept with more of its type. Recommend to keep 4 or more of them in a tank.


Up Keep: Tank should have plenty of plants with and good sized swimming area. Floating plants are a good idea as well as to dim the light.
Breeding: Spawning is achieved by lowering the water and using floating plants to diffuse the light. Remove the pair after spawning as they will eat the eggs.
