Fungal Diseases

Fungal diseases that are common with aquarium fish.

Cottonwool Disease or Body Fungus is a disease that happens on weakened fish. This is a disease that can be treated very easy with many remedies available to the aquarist. Can cause severe damage to fish if left untreated. Treatment should be andministered to the sick fish at first sign of infection.

Body Fungus: Cotton or wool-like patches grow on the skin of the infected fish. Can be treated using Fungus Cure or MarOxy.

Mouth Fungus: Cotton or wool-like patches grow on the mouth of the infected fish. Can be treated using Fungus Cure or MarOxy.

Eye Fungus: Cotton or wool-like patches grow on one eye or both eyes of the infected fish. Can be treated using Fungus Cure or MarOxy.
